Q: If only angle theta and the power factor are known how does the app calculate the magnitudes of Watts, VA & VAR?
A: Values cannot be properly calculated as at least one magnitude is required. In this scenario, the program disregards the Power Factor and calculates magnitudes based on the angle and a base unit of 1.
