A: Additional fuse models will be available in future updates. Selecting a similar fuse in the same class by another manufacturer may provide a suitable substitution however be sure to verify trip/arc time and current limiting characteristics. Q: I try to email the PDF labels but they are never received.
A: The application uses Apple’s Mail program to send the email. The mail app must be properly configured for outgoing mail.
Q: When entering the conductor sizes with a “ / “ for like 1/0, 2/0, 3/0, and 4/0, i have to go to my notes on iPhone and use copy and paste to create the “/“
A: For 1/0, 2/0, 3/0, and 4/0 conductors you can use the alternative, 0, 00, 000, 0000 and it will convert it to 1/0, 2/0, 3/0, and 4/0.
Q: For panelboards with a main circuit breaker is the arc flash calculation for the line or the load side of the MCB?
A: Where a main circuit breaker or fuse is present on a panelboard, switchboard, or other equipment the arc flash calculation reflects the load size calculation. If there is no internal protective barrier covering the main over current device/lugs or where other conditions warrant the main protective device can be removed to determine if the line side arc flash potential increases. The study engineer should determine which calculation(s) should be used for the report and labeling.
